FAQ's

Do I need natural gas or other fossil fuel to run a mini-split?

No. Our systems run completely off of electricity. In fact most homes need little electrical work to support a new system.

Can a ductless/mini-split be used in a small room?

Ductless units can be used in a variety different size spaces. Not only are there different size mini-splits, but they also have the ability to scale in capacity to fit the needs of a space. Whether you have a small space (100 sqft or less) or a larger space (1500 sqft +), there is more than likely a unit for you.

Will there be any major modification to my home?

In most cases there will only be a small hole or two needed to run wiring and piping from the indoor unit to the outdoor and for any needed electrical work. All holes are properly sealed and hidden from view behind the hanging unit or in line hide.

How much will my electrical bill change?

Mini-split air conditioning systems are known for their energy efficiency and low power consumption. The amount of electricity a mini-split uses depends on several factors, such as the size and capacity of the unit, the temperature set point, and the usage patterns. Generally, mini-splits consume less electricity compared to traditional central air conditioning systems, as they operate on a variable speed compressor and use inverter technology. This allows them to adjust their power consumption based on the cooling or heating demands, resulting in energy savings.

Do mini-splits both heat & cool?

Yes. While there are cooling only models available, most application call for a heat pump version which both heats and cools.

How do I control the system?

Most units come with a remote thermostat that controls the system, however, there are other options such as traditional wired thermostats and options for WiFi operation.

Are there options for financing?

Yes. There are options for different payment plans and financing. Options are based on the customer's payment history and other financial history.
